Mission Statement of The
Cut Bank District No. 15 Education Foundation
and Alumni Association
The Cut Bank
District No.15 Education Foundation and Alumni
Association will provide a mechanism to raise
and accumulate funds to develop, foster and
encourage excellence in education. The
Foundation/Alumni Association will promote
public awareness and involvement in school
related activities and educational programs.
Formally Adopted
this 11th day of January, 1996.
The Cut Bank
Education Foundation annually recognizes
community members who in so many different ways
continue to go the distance in support of Cut
Bank children. We will never be able to
adequately thank them for all they have done and
for what we know they will continue to do, but
we want you to know how much their contribution
and dedication means to the Cut Bank Education
Foundation and Alumni Association.

Lynne Brown was the 2010 awardee of
the "Going the Extrance for Kids"
recognition from the Cut Bank
Education Foundation and Alumni
Association's Board of Directors.
Mrs. Brown not only runs her own
piano studio for the students in Cut
Bank, but she has also helped
whenever asked by the teachers in
the music department throughout the
years. She is often heard asking
"What else can I do to help?" Her
positive influence on the children
of this community has truly been a
gift. |

The 2009 recipients of the "Going
the Extra Distance for Children"
Award are Pat and Ron Hill. Both of
these amazing people have given so
much of their lives in support of
the children of Cut Bank. Even after
retiring, whenever they were called
upon or knew that their help was
needed they were there. Our
community, but most especially our
children have been blessed by the
efforts of this wonderful couple.
Thanks Pat and Ron for always giving
more than you were asked to and for
being such inspiring role models. |

| Our 2008 awardees are two people
who can always be found supporting
the Cut Bank children whether it is
at school, athletic events, field
trips, or through the church youth
group. The youth of Cut Bank have
two wonderful advocates in Becky and
Dave Gates. They certainly “Go the
Distance” for all of our kids. |

| In 2007, the CBEFAA recognized
Mr. Mike Reynolds for his continued
support to the students of Cut Bank
Middle and High School. Mr. Reynolds
has been the Cut Bank High School
Cross Country Coach for the last 40
years and continues to inspire our
young people to go the extra mile.
He was inducted last year into the
High School Coaches Hall of Fame.
Pictured with Mr. Reynolds is Dr.
Randy Webb, President of the CBEFAA
and Kimberley Butterworth, CBEFAA
Executive Director. |

| Our first awardees were
instrumental in the establishment of
the CBEFAA and have been supportive
of our children in so many different
organizations over the years that
they were the obvious choice for our
first “Going The Distance For Kids”
awards. Scott Gage, Class of ’73 and
Larry Epstein, Class of ’67. |
