Graduating Senior & Alumni Scholarships

The Cut Bank Education Foundation & Alumni Association holds its annual "Celebrating Success" Scholarship Recognition event each spring. The annual Celebrating Success program provides public recognition of not only the CBHS extraordinary students but also the outstanding educators they identified as being the most influential in their lives. The students write short essays on why they selected their most inspirational educator. These educators were then asked to select a special book to give to these students as a lifelong keepsake of this important milestone in their lives. To date, the CBEFAA has given &/or administered over $976,873 to date in scholarships to Cut Bank High School Graduating seniors & to CBHS Alumni attending post-secondary schools.

Each year, the CBEFAA recognizes outstanding individuals on the staff of School District No. 15 at the Celebrating Success Event.  The "Shining Star" award is typically given to someone who has worked in the school district & does whatever they can to make the lives of students better.  These individuals go out of their way & outside the scope of their day-to-day job descriptions to make the educational experience exceptional for students by also teaching them lifelong lessons. We also recognize individuals from our community & school district that go out of their way to help out students, staff & administration with the "Going the Distance for Kids" award.

**For this year only, the professor assessment letters are not required for an alumni scholarship application to be considered complete. However, it is preferred that applicants submit the professor assessment letters with their application if at all possible.**
